Quite literally made for the industry, Emma was born into a family of hoteliers and grew up seeing, experiencing and drawing inspiration from her parent’s business flair and genuine hospitality across their hotel portfolio.  This innate entrepreneurism has seen Emma start and build multiple successful businesses across various sectors of interest.

With a fresh and creative approach, Emma applies both traditional and innovative techniques to engage with the UK market, balancing a results driven strategy with nurturing and developing client relationships.  Whether representing clients at global MICE exhibitions and events, hosting bespoke events for education and exposure or penetrating accounts through more direct interactions, Emma has a proven track record of prospecting and conversion, delivering significant revenue sales and contracts through a multi-channel approach.

As a personable, honest and driven professional, Emma thrives on achieving results through a solutions based, proactive and consultative approach.

Marleen Mason


Having graduated from Hotelschool in the Hague in 1996, Marleen’s curiosity about the world was ignited, and she spread her wings to explore the world.  From opening a ski resort in Switzerland for Golden Tulip, to travelling on board a cruise ship as Maitre D, Marleen finally settled in the UK to embark upon a sales career within luxury hotels.  Armed with 30 years of hotel experience, starting operationally across every department, Marleen’s results driven and tenacious nature meant she was always destined for a career in sales.

Over the years as an on-property Director of Sales, Marleen bolsters the Vine Tree Connections reach within the UK market, with plentiful, strong relationships across the industry, a shrewd understanding for ROI for hotel partners and an appreciation for multi faceted approaches to engage with the market.

As a communicative and experienced individual, Marleen strives to fully understand client needs to direct her in market approach, offering bespoke, tailor made solutions no matter the brief.

Rachael Boraston


Passionate traveller and industry professional, Rachael supports the Vine Tree team as a freelance consultant for Marketing, PR & Business Development.  With a 12 year career history spanning venue, agency and destination, Rachael brings a wealth of experience to the team, enhanced with a creative and enthusiastic approach.

With strong relationships across industry, her role enhances our digital marketing efforts and industry press coverage to ensure our portfolio remain front of mind for our engaged social following.

A personable, authentic and dedicated individual, she is also tasked with growing our portfolio, to offer Vine Tree representation for additional hotels and venues across the UK, Europe and beyond.
